Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated“. And he also said “Be the change that you wish to see in the world”.

As we come together in building the New India, we at LARA are leading the change we want to see by rescuing and caring for the animals in need. It is a miserable life to be led on the streets. Making it worse is lying in the streets hurt, wounded, starving and uncared for. The cruelty of abandoning pets on the streets still continues and these helpless animals struggling to survive, end up severely injured with maggots eating away their flesh.

Our Work

Rescue

Picking animals in distress off the streets and brings them to the outpatient department.

Treat

Once the animal is diagnosed and provided with immediate & emergency treatment.

Rehabilitate

Following the completion of treatment & recovery, community animals are dropped back in the area where they were picked up from.

You Can Help Us

We understand that many of you feel for the cause of helping animals and are looking for means to help. Thus, we at LARA are providing you this opportunity to actually help, truly touch lives, make an impact and be part of the change. A contribution from you can help move mountains in providing the source of funding required to rescue and treat these animals. These contributions will also be used to carry out animal birth controls in areas where population control is a necessity
